50 Years at Bush House Poster Prints
50 Years at Bush House
Arnolfini moved into Bush House on Bristol’s harbourside in October 1975, launching an ambitious programme of exhibitions, performances and film. To mark 50 years in this remarkable building, we've reproduced a selection of posters from our first year at Bush House, capturing the energy and ambition of Arnolfini’s early programme.
Built in 1831 as a warehouse on Narrow Quay, Bush House stood derelict until its transformation in the 1970s. Its revival helped spark the wider regeneration of the harbourside. On opening, Observer art critic William Weaver described Arnolfini as “the grandest arts centre in the country and probably the best appointed.”
Take Home a Piece of Arnolfini History
To celebrate our 50th year in Bush House, we've collaborated with Bicep Press to offer a range of posters from our first year in the building. All posters are available as high-quality reproduction prints in a choice of sizes and finishes.
